- More than 200,000 men chose to undergo plastic surgery in 2011.
- Rhinoplasty, Eyelid Surgery and Male Breast Reduction are the most popular surgical procedures for men.
- Botox, Laser Hair Removal, and Microdermabrasion are the most popular non-surgical procedures.

Botox is a good treatment for men between the ages of 18 and 65 who want a non-surgical procedure to reduce frown lines and wrinkles. Botox has also been approved to treat many other medical conditions, such as hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
Aging men often exhibit wrinkles and furrows around the brow and forehead. If you are bothered by these conditions, brow lift surgery may be a great option for you. Dr. Feledy can perform both traditional brow lift surgery or the minimally invasive endoscopic brow lift technique. The traditional method involves a single incision that runs the length of the hairline at the top of the forehead, whereas the endoscopic method requires only a few small incisions along the hairline.
One of the most effective and gentle ways to remove unwanted body hair is through laser hair removal. To eliminate hair, a laser beam of very low energy is passed through the skin and into any hair follicles that are currently growing. These follicles are then eliminated at their lowest level within the skin. Relatively large areas of the body can be effectively treated, and there is no recovery period after laser hair removal. You can get back to your normal routine right away.
As the most popular cosmetic surgery procedure in the U.S., liposuction effectively sculpts the body by removing undesirable fat from target areas that have not responded to diet and exercise. These critical areas include the abdomen, waist, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, chin, cheeks, neck and upper arms. Local anesthesia or general anesthesia may be used, and the procedure can last anywhere from one to five hours depending on the amount of fat being removed.
Men who have developed excess breast tissue can undergo male breast reduction to correct this condition. Known as gynecomastia, or a female-appearing chest, excess breast tissue is a problem that can affect men of all ages. Through male breast reduction, patients are able to realize a chest that is flatter and more masculine in appearance. This procedure is particularly designed for use in situations where the patient has previously sought to reduce their chest through diet and exercise to no avail.
Microdermabrasion is a clinical exfoliation technique that quickly improves the appearance of your skin. If your skin has become dull or damaged from aging or exposure to the elements, it may be a good time to perform a thorough exfoliation with a series of microdermabrasion treatments.
