How are breast implants replaced?

If you are having your implants removed and replaced, Dr. Feledy will likely use the same incision site as your original surgery. The implant will be removed at the site of the incision and a new implant will be inserted (if desired). The incisions will then be closed with sutures and covered with surgical dressings.

How long will I be in surgery?

A typical corrective breast augmentation will be completed in less than 2 hours. In most cases, surgery will be performed under general anesthesia.

What should I expect during the recovery process?
